a) 'Executioner argues with the King about cutting off the Cheshire Cat’s head' Alice in Wonderland illustrations (published 1865) by John Tenniel

b)  La Resurrezione di Cristo (1475 - 1479) by Giovanni Bellini

c) Stone feature over right side of tomb entrance that looks almost like a caricature of a face transformed into the Queen's face

d.i) Entrance to the tomb and soldier compared to the Executioner

d.ii) Left side of stone feature over tomb entrance transformed into the executioner, with a soldier's head becoming the end of the back of his hair.

d.iii) Inside the actual tomb, the top of the plinth where Christ's body was layed becomes the card on the back of executioner, while the side of the plinth becomes the skirt of the queen.

d.iv) The shield of the soldier on the lower right becomes the space between the executioner's back and the axe blade while the space around the left of the shield becomes the axe blade itself

e) Top part of a soldier slightly in the distance on the right becomes the head of the rabbit

f) Seated soldier becomes the front of the lower area of the king's hard robe where the legs are seen , the shield become the edge of the robe with the arrow patterns and the sculpted rock area wihich the man's shield lies against becomes the lower part of the back of the king's robe.

g.i) Townscape and the king's head

This area with the kings by the river becomes the king's head. Is it that the buildings become the side of his hair and the bridge area becomes his face, or is it that the building area becomes his head altgother. I haven't worked that one out yet

g.ii) Perhaps I should say that these building features were transformed into his face

h) The floating Christ figure becomes the Cheshire Cat head
