a.i) At the end of Return of the Pink Panther (1975), although the adventure appears to have ended, there's another scene tacked on.
Inspector Clouseau is having a Japanese meal at a restaurant with Sgt. François Chevalier, but hi s manservant Cato who is disguised as a Japanese waitress comes out of hiding and suddenly attacks him bringing destruction to the restaurant..
After that Clouseau flies through the air to attack Cato but smashes into the kitchen below bringing destruction to the many plate
In a way, Kato's attacks on Clouseau when he least expects, coming out of hiding from somewhere, often when Clouseau is searching for him in his apartment is near enough becomes the human's attempt to search for the alien beast in Alien and fight with it.
Here it might as well be the last scene where the character Roby (who is later renamed Ripley) thinks that he/she has got away in the shuttle, and then suddenly out of a cupboard comes the alien beast to carry out an attack, before Roby manages to shove it out of the back hatch of the shuttle.

b.i) In The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976), Clouseau thinks that his adventure has ended having escaped the destruction of the castle by the doomsday weapon. .
He shares a moment of lovemaking with Olga the assassin in a bed, before his manservant Cato comes to attack him as usual, but the bed snaps up back into the wall.
b.ii) Clouseau, Olga and Cato are
all propelled through the wall itself out into the river outside. This
again is perhaps similar to the end scene in the escape shuttle in the
original script where Roby forces the alien beast outside the back hatch
of the shuttle.
