Curiously I think this drawing references Giger's Passage Temple Life painting.

The general idea I got was that the arms becomes the legs and arms of the Nut goddess like figure, while the shoulders becomes the buttocks and the shoulders of the Nut,

d) The central shapes along the torso becomes the egg shapes with the different stages of the alien life form

e) The Design on the groin area of the celestial become the chestburster with the lower spikes becoming the chest burster's arms
