By the 22nd of November 2021, Ridley Scott was able to report that the pilot for a Blade Runner series was near enough written and with that the 'bible', so they were presenting Blade Runner as a TV show.
It would presumable be the first 10 hours.
Alien's pilot was being written as well, and with that another 'bible', presenting the history of that world.
So if it was eight or ten hours of episodes of the series, all of that would have to be detailed in the 'bible'.
There
wasn't a final view about how long these series would go on for, but he
had produced The Good Wife for television which went on for sixteen
years, and this was followed by The Good Fight which was still running
on TV.
