Panel from The Pink Sphinx" from Pink Panther #4 (Published Jan 1972) showing the Pink Panther riding on a camel as a "ship of the desert" references Millet's Architectonic Angelus, (1933) by Salvador Dali?

Leading from

a) First panel from "The Pink Sphinx" from Pink Panther #4 (Published Jan 1972)

b) References Millet's Architectonic Angelus, (1933) by Salvador Dali (which I think was referenced in Giger's Wreck (work 374) and Landscape with wreck (work 397)?

c) The base of the left soft architectural form becomes the rear foot of the camel. You can see the way it's divided on the right looks as if it could become the camel toes.

d) The shadowy part of this piece of soft architecture becomes the neck while the lit upper part becomes the space above the neck.

e) Horizontal slit in the upper part of the soft architecture becomes the rim of the helmet

f) The horn becomes the Pink Panther's upper leg

g) The hole becomes the hump

h) Front part of the soft architecture standing on a rock becomes a front foot
