b) References Stanley Kubrick (published January 30 1972) by Albert Hirschfield?

Something to know about this is that I think that Christiane Kubrick based a sculpture of an alien on one of Giger's earlier works, and that he found out, integrating that into this painting of the alien beast and so he played with his image of Kubrick because of that, integrating it into his painting.

I think also that Peter Andrews Jones's Claws of Death illustration which this alien beast seems to reference also reference the same illustration of Kubrick

c ) Areas to compare

d) Here the fingers become the ribbing at the back of the head

e) In relation to the above, the strip of film becomes the back tentacle

f) Lower part of the mouth becomes the shoulder while the moustache becomes the shoulder fin

g) eyes become deformations on the side of the head , while the lower left eyelid becomes a tube

h) His hair coming down the back and side of his head becomes the upper front part of the alien beast's head.

i) In relation to the above, here the space between the back of the collar and the neck become the goggle like eye

j)  The front of the hair here also becomes the ribbing on the back of the alien beast's head while it seems that his forehead has become the bulging rear of the alien beast's head.

Then it would seem that the eyebrow contributes something towards the idea of the tip of the tentacle, as the strip of film bends to the right at the top and ends in a curl
