I was just getting an idea that something from 1978 inspired Lucien and this one seems to fit the bill the most. 

c) Comparable parts.  it seems to be the basic idea of the layout of the composition having some effect on Lucien’s pose whether that would have been consciously done or not, whether or not that can be appreciated by other people. 

d) The two elongated dark entity is going down the painting become the sides of his head and this baby like head with two legs sticking up become his nose, while the lower abdomen with legs apart become the bottom of his jaw and the throat.

e) The spikes piercing the body of the dark become Lucien’s eyes

f) Tail like form becaomes the right side of the neck and shoulders
