Alien Resurrection: Echoes of the Citadel Miniatures's Plague Elemental for the Warhammer game in the Newborn

In the late eighties, Citadel created a figure called the Plague Elemental, in the C34 Demons and Elementals group that was designed for the Warhammer game in 1986, a strange long limbed pot bellied large hulking creature with an exposed skull face, which was in its time a very interesting figure and would have been well known about in England amongst the Citadel miniatures collectors of the time. Whether by design or not, this was where the design found itself heading.
