Well, so Doctor Doom's seat seems to have started out as Christ's makeshift robe and the mountain behind, but it's as if Giger has transformed it into some sort of a discarded skin. 

Then the purple computer started out as a mountain side, and here has transformed into the upper torso of a humanoid form.
