The Anti-Life equation trail: Biomechanical Landscaped (unfinished) (1988) by HR Giger references panel showing the alien queen and warriors from Alien vs Predator #1 (published June 1990), pencilled by Phill Norwood and inked by Karl Story?

a) Panel showing the Alien Queen and alien warriors from Alien vs Predator #1 (published June 1990), pencilled by Phill Norwood and inked by Karl Story

b) Biomechanic landscape (unfinished) painting (1988) by HR Giger

So it’s assumed that Giger somehow saw the drawing back in 1988 of the anti-life equation as alien Queen with aliens that wouldn’t be published until 1990.

a.ii) Higher resolution image photographed by Kean Robertson (posted at Building Better Worlds )

b) The first thing to note is that Giger turned the Alien Queen’s face into a lower torso, the hood into part of a leg and then part of the alien soldier below is turned into a serpent like form.

A first sign of something by Giger that seems to be a reinterpretation of Jim Cameron’s Alien Queen. the alien warrior’s head becomes part of the leg extending from the left of the lower abdomenal form. perhaps the phallic tip of the alien head becomes the serpent’s head

c.i) Area to compare wth alien queen's crest and hanging alien warrior beasts

c.ii) A hanging alien becomes the back of an upper abdomen with spine

c.iii) Alien queen's crestbecomes a misty space between limbs

c.iv) Alien beast is tansformed into a lower abdomen with skeletal face

d) Alien beast hanging upside down becomes a lower torso with buttocks and legs
