When Adrian Edmondson was about eighteen, he went to see Alien in the cinema.
He had his hat on his knee.

Adrian Edmondson: i was about 18 i saw it in the cinema and i lost my hat.
Interviewer: Because you were so scared
Adrian Edmonson: I had it on my knee. And there was a moment of incredible kind of mass hysteria. And it went like that. And I never found it.
Interviewer: Now, your wife, Jennifer Saunders, she's a big fan of the Alien franchise.
Adrian Edmondson: Yeah, she likes horror in general. I did.
