I don’t really want to leap to assume that the Madness album cover was inspired by Giger’s painting, but the resemblance can be noticed and compared, and used in extraordinary ways for further examples of artistic expression

Perhaps a connection was made between the Mordor VII painting and the Madness cover for this book page, but it might seem that the connection to the Mordor painting would seem relevant to Giger later on.
