leading from
a) Headdress on the verge of transforming into a Nautilus cephalopod
On the top far right is a woman's face with vertical eyes. From one point of view, it resembles a squid with a spiral shell, that would be a Nautilus, is a pelagic marine mollusc of the cephalopod family very much a small version of the creature that fights captain Nemo's Nautilus in the 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.

b) Cephalopod head dress revealing itself to be a Kookaburra
However the form of this thing with its spiny tentacles as a thick mean
lend itself to being the thick beak of a downwards facing bird, perhaps
on one level a beak like a Toucan and another, a crested bird of some
sort, but the biggest impression is that it's like a Kookaburra which is
stocky famous bird in Australia and New Guineau known for its laugh in
the Kingfisher that grows from 11inches to 17 inches. Perhaps even one
might suggest that the beak has elements relating it to perhaps
something nearly a Hornbill but not in a specific way. In the earlier
version of the image and a black and white image of the final, the wing
tip can be seen.
