Moebius' "John Carter et Geronimo Martinez luttent pour le son parfait " (1994) references "Judith Beheading Holofernes" (1611-1612) by Artemisia Gentileschi?

(Translation: John Carter and Geronimo Martinez struggle for the perfect sound (1994) by Moebius

Judith Beheading Holofernes,(1611-1612) by Artemisia Gentileschi

a) The sword becomes the division between the standing man's legs. The head with the lower hand of the woman on the right becomes the leg of the man holding onto the standing man. The left arm of the man being beheaded becomes the left leg and hip of the standing man. The hand that gripping the sword handle remains as a hand.

b) The hand of the man being beheaded becomes a strange zigzag pattern with red semicircular decorations.

c) In a very generalised way, I think that Moebius transformed the woman's head gear that's draped also over her shoulder into this transparent form, with the part hanging to the left of the turban like item being turned into a pipe, and while the hand has also been turned into a zigzag pattern, it has along with the woman's face also become the hand that's holding this balloon like object.
