a) The Ridleygram
The general idea is that we have outsized characters sitting on long giant chairs seen from the back.
b) Hitler Masturbating, (1973) by Salvador Dali
(Dali.org :This small canvas is one of the most curious, controversial and outrageous objects in the Dalí Museum collection. Dalí took a small anonymous print of a snowy landscape with horses and used gouache to add and subtract details, transforming it into a caricature of the seated Führer presented from behind. The title reveals that the viewer is catching him at the compromising moment of his self-pleasure. Dalí briefly summarized the reason for the Führer’s unexpected presentation, saying, “Hitler Masturbating because he is lose le var (war)!” (http://archive.thedali.org/mwebcgi/mweb.exe?request=record;id=1780;type=101))
c) The two side by side
Images side by side, showing the chair to be roughly the same size in relation to the rest of the composition
