Aliens: Black out in the "siege scene" from Hill Street Blues season 1 episode 4, "Can World War III Be an Attitude?" (originally aired January 24, 1981) becomes a blackout at Hadley's Hope?

a) A moment before in th 46th minute into the episode

Esterhaus tells Henry Goldblume and Alf "Belker just checked in. Says it's a no-mans land ot there. Empty streets"

Ray asks "No word about those 250 guns"

Esterhaus replies. "Zilch, I've got this uneasy feeling in my gall bladder

 


b) Then it happens

This coincides with a moment in the 47th minute of the episode when the electricity goes at the police station are suddenly cut and they think that the gangs are laying siege. 

A police officer who was taking the fingerprints yells "What happened? Hey"

Esterhaus says  "Correct my thinking. How hard is it for one of those monkeys to climb a pole and cut the power?"

 
 
 
c) Everyone in the building alarmed


 

d) The head honcho , Rene Pegano, that had been arrested, goes into a rant 

"Alright,  you're going to die! Everyone of you. Hell you know what it's like to be dead? 'Cause you'te gonne die! I'm gonna kill every one of you!"

He doesn't give up trying to create fear.





e) Blackout in Aliens

e.i) In Aliens , there is a moment when Hicks wants to take Carter Burke away and waste him because they are sure that he tried to have Ripley and Newt infected by the facehuggers.

 

e.ii) Ripley wants Burke to be taken back but suddenly everything goes black. All is dark!

 

e.iii) Ripley states: "They cut the power."

 

e.iv) Hudson cries out "What do you mean, they cut the power? How could they cut the power, man? They're animals!"
