a) The cover for "Sabbath bloody Sabbath" by Black Sabbath (1973) by Drew Struzan
b) Aleph (painted 1972-1973) (work 210) (Ink on Paper on Wood, 240x216cm,)
Well I don't really know how soon Giger was showing other people his painting and why it should be that Drew Struzan should be on the receiving end of his painting. Perhaps someone that Giger showed it to Struzan or it's simply a very weird coincidence that that there should be a similarity. I don't know how this should work but later it looks as if Giger decided to reference Struzan's album cover in The Spell II
