Giger's Anima Mia Incorporates
Dali's "Swans Reflecting Elephants"

Dali's Swans Reflecting Elephants
Anima Mia has elements of the style New York City paintings, but I begin to wonder if the central creatures bear signs of the saw like forms in Salvador Dali's "Swans Reflecting Elephants" also painted in 1937, in non direct ways other than there are elephant head like forms and swan neck forms and similar sense of the doubling by reflection creating different forms. In Giger's painting with the divided head with horns, the central swan's neck appears doubled and reflected almost transforming into the forearms of a praying mantis.
