HR Giger: Necronom IV (1976) by HR Giger references "Napoleon’s Nose, Transformed into a Pregnant Woman, Strolling His Shadow with Melancholia amongst Original Ruins"?

a) A comparison between relevant section of Salvador Dali's "Napoleon’s Nose, Transformed into a Pregnant Woman, Strolling His Shadow with Melancholia amongst Original Ruins" (1945 and Giger's Necronom IV (1976). 

b) One might say that it was not necessarily a conscious point of reference for Giger but something that flowed into his composition because he was a Dali fan and ought to have seen this work, and I was just looking for a relevant Dali painting that might have crawled into Necronom IV but had almost given up.

c) However Today, 8th January 2017, I saw this image and my intuition told me that this was the one. I might as well be a pain in the arse and say it was a conscious point of reference. Does it mean that Napoleon's nose became Necronom IV's bent arm?
