c) The strange sheet like flow of water before the Satan partially wrapped around his arm becomes JG Ballard's hair on the left

It's back and its buttocks become his nose.

The Delville's figure was loosely based on a human race anyway.

d.i)  The dark area on the left becomes his left shoulder an

d.ii) The lower part becomes the lower arm and hand

e) The area where the nude bodies are becomes the front of his jumper/sweater/pullover as his body slopes backwards into the chair.

f)  What seemed very interesting was how the tentacle trailing further to the right appeared to become the bunched up shoulder of his jumper/sweater/pullover on the right.
