Map of Mars (compiled 1877-1886) Giovanni Schiaparelli connects with The Bread and Butterfly for Lewis Carroll's Alice Through The Looking Glass (1871) by John Tenniel?

a)  If one starts trying to force the issue that this must be a place on Mars as well, it wouldn't be easy to claim anything because there's not much to go by really.

Who is setting the rules for these interplanetary games?

b) Giovanni Schiaparelli's map of Mars

(NASA publication SP-4212, On Mars: Exploration of the Red Planet. 1958-1978. ch1-2.)

c) One could have a look at the left side of the bottom of Schiaparelli's map and find a comparable area where the areas of Elysium, Cebrenia and Aetheria meet

c) The left wing with Styx reaching to Trivium Charantis and from there to the left Orcus which would correspond with the white tip.

d) The right wing and Aetheria

e) The rocks and Propontis

f) The main body of the creature and Faltum Anian
