HR Giger: Biomechanical Landscape II (work 298a) references Mycenaean lentoid gem showing a sacred palm and wild goat?

leading from

a) Biomechanical Landscape II (work 298a) by HR Giger

b) Illustration of a Mycenaean lentoid showing a sacred palm and wild goat from Palaeokastro in Crete from "The Mycenaean Tree and Pillar Cult and Its Mediterranean Relations" by Arthur Evans published in 1901.

c) Comparable part of the lentoid next to Giger's painting

d) The long tailed animal's rear becomes the phallic snail like form

e) Parts of the head of both animals becomes the openings of pipes

f) The tail of the wild goat becomes the opal opening at the end of a ribbed pipe. It seems impossible to compare these two but they're roughly in a similar position and perhaps the tail has been turned into the rim of the full oval shape

g) The curious symbol becomes part of the abstract structure on the right

h) The back of the wild goat's head becomes the crouching form on the upper left
