a) The Mad Hatter's Tea Party for Alice In Wonderland (published 1865) by John Tenniel

b)  Baphomet, in Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie, (1856) by Eliphas Levi.

While it would be a significant symbol in occultism, i don't really mean to assume that Tenniel thought of it as anything but an interesting idea to play with just as much as I think that a number of artists have played with it in strange and cunning ways, and I don't have any urge to claim that they were practicing occultists or whatever.

But if someone has something more to say, that might be interesting to me.

c) Comparable elements, the upper half of Levi's Baphoment and the upper hard of Tenniel's March hare.

d) The shield and the caduceus in relation to the teapot

Meanwhile, the shield transforms into the tea pot, with the sphere between the two snake heads transforming into the lid handle.

The top of the leg garment covering the bottom of the right of the shield transformes into the teapot spout, and perhaps in some way it's the entwined snakes (Caduceus) transform into the teapot spout. as well

e) The left breast in relation to the teapot

One might even think that the Baphomet's breast has been transformed into the teapot because of where the teapot in placed in relation to the March hare.

    1. Yes, there's a bit more about these Baphomet connections that I've discovered, worked out or theorised. That's all documented on the Baphomet Boulevard page linked at the top

  3. A little bit of editing was done, especially since a few sentences that didn't make that much sense needed correcting
