a)  Suspicions

This is list here is basically about films and comic book stories where the association between

Here is seems that Dan O'Bannon used the plots of certain movies with the idea that the alien beast related to the mysteries of trouble around jewels, in a way that also connected with "The Adventures of Tintin: The Castafiore Emerald" where the story centers around an opera singer and her emerald , The Adventures of Tintin: The Castafiore Emerald where the story is centred around a diamond hidden within a sculpture, the James Bond Film "Diamonds Are Forever" which involves diamonds, the horror film "Blood From The Mummy's Tomb" which involves a ring with a jewel taken from an Egyptian Queen's tomb released around the time of the Bond film and might oddly have some similarities.

Of course I have explored the Pink Panther films as well , the Pink Panther is supposed to be the name of a jewel and noticed that it looked as if "The Return of the Pink Panther" (released in mid 1975) appeared to have some correlation as well with some aspects of the earlier development while the final Alien film appeared to correlate with the following film "The Pink Panther Strikes Again" (1976) again in strange ways.

Also would have contributed to ideas in the final Alien film and general enthusiasm for the movie series and the cartoon character itself would haunt the Alien production in different ways, and we would consider the fact that the Pink Panther is supposed to be a diamond with an unusual flaw: by looking deeply into the stone, one perceives a tiny discoloration resembling a leaping panther
