a) Landscape (work 385)(1978) by HR Giger for Alien

 b) "Armorican forest" playscene for Weetabix Asterix Friends & Foes standup figures and action scene sets (1975)

b.i) I only had a low resolution copy of this image to place with from : http://cerealoffers.com/Weetabix_Ltd/Weetabix/1975/Asterix_-_His_Friends_-_Foes/asterix_-_his_friends_-_foes.html)

b.ii) Lowe resolution image of Weetabix cereal packet with illustration of scene on the back

c) The river becomes a row of ribs like formations running up the centre of the landscape

d) The bridge becomes a mount against which an alien pilot's body or flight suit remains discarded

e) A tree becomes a phallic formation

f) Space between the trees becomes space between the rock formations

g) The large tree on the left of the scene roughly becomes a vertical rock formation on the left

h) A man who is fishing along the stream becomes a hidden upper body of a figure imbedded in the landscape

i) In terms of its place, the part of the tree wth the owl in the hole becomes this area

j) The space in the upper branches with the two birds becomes this area

k) One could say that the hole in the tree with the owl serves as inspiration for this area too although not in terms of the place it is place.

l) This tree root becomes the area where this curious large animal like head is placed and so the hole becomes the place for its eye
