a) Petal like forms become wings
The stamen becomes the underside of the lower jaw
Crutch becomes the vertical bar of the window frame
b) The face becomes the inflatable toy
c) The spider becomes the boat, or is it the close eye that becomes the boat with the eyelid as the close sail, or both? Here we're looking at something setting off ideas rather than becoming a faithful representation
d) The viola becomes the jacket and head of the Inspector while the bow becomes the back of his collar.
e) The dead body draped over the branch becomes the neck and head of the sea monster with the breast becoming its eye, and the tree becoming the pipe.
