Prometheus: Starmap motifs scattered through Earth's history

a) In Prometheus, a star configuration turns up time after time after time in various pieces of ancient artwork such as tablets, cave drawings, etc.

 

 

 
 
b) They start with a cave image supposedly in the isle of Skye, that is based upon the  Palaeolithic cave paintings of Lascaux, found in a complex of caves in the Dordogne region of southwestern France, because of their exceptional quality, size, sophistication and antiquity. Estimated to be up to 20,000 years old.
